(Toledo, OH) A Toledo woman is going to spend the rest of her life in prison for torturing and killing a four-year-old girl.
25-year old Bridgette White would burn the child and lock her in a dog cage. Prosecutors say it was the most horrific form of child abuse they had ever seen.
The little girl was found unconscious and unresponsive with multiple new and old injuries. An autopsy showed the girl suffered burns, bruises, malnourishment, and dehydration. White entered an Alford plea to charges of related to the girl's death-- not admitting her guilt, but acknowledging there's enough evidence for a conviction.
White was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without parole for aggravated murder.
