Kenny Chesney offered words of inspiration to an upstate New York woman with cancer who came to his Pittsburgh show.
22-year-old Alicia Porak, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma this year, attended the concert just two days after a chemotherapy treatment. Kenny spotted her holding a sign that said "Beatin' Cancer" and invited her onstage.
Alicia, who pulled off her wig before meeting Kenny, says, "He basically was like, 'You're beautiful. You're going to be okay. Everything's going to be okay. Just keep doing what you're doing. You're a strong girl.' I got offstage and everyone around me was crying and...it was amazing."
She says it was the most empowering moment of her life. You can follow Alicia's journey on YouTube. (WGRZ)
