ODOT to Demolish Homes near I-75

(Toledo, OH) Ten buildings in South Toledo soon will meet the wrecking ball for upcoming I-75 improvements.

ODOT intends to reconstruct the DiSalle bridge over the Maumee River and fix the South Avenue entrance and exit as part of its ongoing efforts to rebuild I-75 through Toledo.

As a result, eight homes and two buildings need to be demolished for those interstate and interchange improvements to happen. Two structures will be demolished on Sumner, two more on Walbridge, five on Morton, and one each on Western and Woodmore.

Toledo city council is considering a cooperative agreement with ODOT to spark that upcoming four-year project, expected to start in two years.
