Wet Winter Predicted by Feds in NW Ohio

(Toledo, OH) Federal forecasters predict a wet winter for Northwest Ohio.

The only thing certain about this winter is Northwest Ohio will get wet. But whether that will result in rain or snow remains unclear, because that depends on whether it's a harsh or mild winter temperature-wise.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is giving a 50-50 chance of the region's winter being warmer or colder than normal, thanks to La Nina conditions in the Pacific Ocean. The Climate Prediction Center says the Toledo metro area was both warmer and wetter than usual last winter, also because of La Nina conditions.

Safe to say most people are hoping for a repeat performance from Old Man Winter.
