Meijer Issues Packaged Vegetable Recall

(Toledo, OH) Meijer is issuing a widespread recall of its packaged vegetables.

Meijer is recalling packaged produce due to possible listeria contamination. There are 35 products involved in the recall-- and includes vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus.

The items would have been purchased between September 27th and last Friday, and come in containers or foam trays with printed labels. The Michigan-based grocery chain has stores across northern and central Ohio.

Listeria cam cause serious infections in kids, the elderly, and others with weakened immune systems. A complete list of the recalled items can be found at meijer.com.
