There Was 'No Sizzle' Between Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston At The Oscars

26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - Media Center

Brad Pitt took won his first Oscar for acting on Sunday (February 9). The longtime Hollywood heartthrob took home the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Brad has been cleaning up this awards season, so it wasn't too surprising to see him claim the most coveted trophy of all.

While fans were happy to see Brad have his moment in the spotlight, they were disappointed he didn't have another red carpet reunion with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. The pair shared a sweet moment at the SAG Awards after they both won in their respective categories. Vivien Killilea Best, the professional photographer who captured the viral reunion photos, opened up about the lovely moment on her Instagram account. “The reunion you’ve all been waiting for happened tonight. And it was captured for you to see by Vivien Best Photography, she wrote. “I was backstage at the SAG-AFTRA awards and heard a familiar voice shouting ‘Aniston! ANISTON!’ I turned around and saw this gem of a moment happen.”

Not only did they reunite publicly at the SAG Awards, the exes have been hanging out occasionally IRL, too. Brad attended Jen's 50th birthday party last year, as well as her Christmas party in December. The pair are reportedly on good terms and have long since gotten over their complicated split. Though all this news of Brad and Jen letting bygones be bygones had fans hoping for a romantic reunion, a Page Six source revealed sparks weren't flying between them at an Oscars afterparty.

After winning his shiny trophy, Brad left the prestigious ceremony to attend a famous annual party hosted by "music bigwig" Guy Oseary. Brad was far from the only A-lister at the shin dig, either. Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, and and fellow first time Academy Award winner Laura Dern were also in attendance. Unsurprisingly, Jen was also at the party and was able to catch up with her ex.

Brad and Jen hung out for a while at the party and celebrated both of their hugely successful years. Despite spending some time together at fancy party, the source reported to Page Six that the pair simply had "no sizzle this time around." Jen may not be reuniting with Brad, but she is reportedly reuniting with her Friends cast mates for a special unscripted project over at HBO Max. That's definitely the most important reunion of 2020.
