Khloé Kardashian doesn't have time for dating right now or the "judgy" response she receives from her family because of it.
The Good American co-founder got real about taking a step back from dating for the past couple years following her split from Tristan Thompson during Thursday's (June 6) episode of The Kardashians, per Entertainment Tonight. When Scott Disick asked if Kardashian was done dating, she simply said she's not interested "right now," jokingly adding, "You think I'm just gonna be celibate for the rest of my life?"
As a mother of two — to children 6-year-old True and 1-year-old Tatum, whom she shares with Thompson — Kardashian is too "exhausted" to date at the moment and doesn't "want anything" from a relationship.
"I actually just want to lay in bed, watch my shows, decompress, get up, do my work," she said. "I don't want anyone stopping my routine."
Kardashian said her family and friends don't understand her feelings on the matter and have "really judgy," but she doesn't think it's "that crazy" to have not dated anyone recently.
"Once I'm done with the kids at nine, I have limited time. I have to be up with the kids at 4:30... that's my time!" she said. "I'm not sharing it with a man. I'm not sharing my TV. I'm not sharing my bed."
Dating as a single mom of two would be difficult for anyone, but Kardashian's level of fame also impacts where she and a potential date can go that won't be immediately hounded with paparazzi taking photos that will only end up fueling public scrutiny.
"I have no idea how you're supposed to date when you have kids, because I'm not bringing you to my home where my kids are and I'm not going to your home where you're going to chop me up in the basement and kill me," she said. "And I'm also not going to a public restaurant or space where people can take pictures. You're going to be another notch on my belt in the public's eyes. I don't f------ think so."
