Khloe Kardashian is opening up about the "pivotal moment" in her marriage to Lamar Odom that ultimately led to their divorce.

On Wednesday's (January 29) episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, Kardashian spoke with author Mel Robbins about being placed in a difficult situation. When Robbins asked if the Good American co-founder had ever personally found herself in a place where she needed to make a change but was having a hard time doing so, Kardashian shared an anecdote about her marriage to the former NBA star, per Page Six.

"I remember, I was married and my ex-husband had a drug addiction. And I knew that his addiction always heightened — he was in the NBA — and his addiction always heightened when he was in the off-season, cause idle time is the devil's playground," she said. "And so I remember he was asked to go to Team USA, if I remember correctly, and I was begging, 'Please, please go to Team USA,' and I was pushing, and I remember he just looked at me and said, 'You can't want it more than I do.'"

That "profound" statement left a lasting impression on the Kardashians star, who admitted, "That was a very pivotal moment in my life because I remember that statement being like... 'Yeah, you're right. I can't want your life more than you.'"

"It's so silly, 'cause I know that. But I wanted it so badly, because I wanted to help him and to get him to feel the motivation and feel good, but he just wasn't in that place," she said, adding, "It took me a long time to get to, then I had to file for divorce."

Kardashian and Odom got married in 2009 before separating in 2013 and eventually finalizing their divorce three years later. Kardashian went on to welcome two children with ex Tristan Thompson: 6-year-old daughter True and 2-year-old son Tatum. In another recent episode of her podcast, she revealed why she doesn't take her exes' cheating personally.
