Azealia Banks, one of several prominent artists who advocated for Donald Trump's reelection, is now regretting her vote amid the turmoil that's unfolded since he returned to the White House.

On Wednesday, April 16, Banks hopped on X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice her opinion about Trump following all the headlines about him and his administration's recent moves. After he launched a trade war with numerous countries and deported U.S. citizens for no reason, Banks is scaling back on her support of Trump and regrets voting for him.

"Ok I think it’s time everyone who voted for Trump admit that we made a f**king mess," she began.

"Like this is an absolute disaster," she continued. "He’s so petty and vindictive rn. Tbh, rightfully so, but not when the wellbeing and livelihood of billions of people - damn near the entire world lay in ur hands . Someone needs to get him a cute little lorazepam rx and a high grade ashwaganda supplement because it can’t happen like this. Nobody on earth is afraid of crazy old white man anger. Old white men need to reinvent the archetype because it’s too predictable. Like China is just DUNKING on everyone right now"

Azealia Banks supported Trump's presidency since he first ran for the highest office in the land in 2016. She was Team Trump and even attended some of his rallies during his reelection campaign last year. She initially endorsed him again, however, the tides began to change after Trump's orbit began to fill up with the wrong people, including former X owner Elon Musk.

Banks went in on Musk after he called out Sean "Diddy" Combs over the mounting allegations of sexual assault against women and men following his arrest last September. “B***H YOU KNEW ABOUT IT DIDDY IS ONE OF YOUR INVESTORS AND U WAS CHILLIN WITH GHISLANE HO," Banks wrote. Musk never responded to her claims, but clearly she's not a fan of Trump's head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Days before the election, Banks officially dumped Trump and believed his opponent Kamala Harris was going to win.

"I was really holding out till the last minute hoping that Trump would AXE Elon," she wrote last year. "But he's really hell bent on Elon and RFK , and they are both bologna and hog cheese respectively."
