Lorde dropped her fourth studio album Virgin last Friday (June 27) and headed to Instagram on Monday (June 30) to check in with fans after its release. After asking fans what track(s) were their favorites, the singer shared some facts about the project, including what songs she started and finished first and last, her favorite sound on the album, being forced to cut a song she loves, suffering from insomnia while making it, and the song that "kicked [her] a**."
"Hardest song was FD ["Favourite Daughter"], to write, to produce, to sing," Lorde admitted. "Kicked my a**."
Now that the album's out in the world, the 28-year-old is focusing on putting together the live show for her "Ultrasound World Tour" that kicks off in September. See her insightful Instagram post and a full list of tour dates below.
