Two guys noticed that there were photos of people of Asian descent hanging in their local McDonald's. So, Jevh Maravilla a 21 year old student at the University of Texas, and his friend Christian Toledo made a McDonald's style poster with their likeness to match the other ones hanging in that location. They also went to some other trouble to get the poster hanging up. Including, buying a McDonald's shirt for $7, making a name tag, and wearing a walkie talkie They probably didn't need to do all they did in the below video but it makes for a better story. They went in and got the poster in with out much trouble, and when the cost was clear they hung up their poster.
According to Click 2 Houston, the McDonald's sent out a statement - "We take pride in highlighting diversity in every aspect of our restaurants. We applaud these students' creativity and hope to see them in our restaurants again soon."
