Facebook has a new option to post a 3D photo. I have seen a few of these photos. It's fun to look at. They aren't really 3D but they have depth that you can see from different angles.

"3D Photos use the depth maps that are stored with “Portrait” photos taken on iPhone 7+, 8+, X or XS. "
So you according to this it must only be available on iPhone's 7+ or older.
I made this little gem below over a year ago. It's a video but kind of has a parallax effect that is similar to a 3D pic.
