Casey Niestat Among Influencers used By Burger King Viral Ad Campaign


Burger King had a genius idea to promote the return of funnel cake fries.

So the fries were first introduced in 2009. Burger King went back and liked Tweets from some influencers from 2009 and that left a lot of well known people confused and asking why the chain restaurant was doing this. Turns out this was part of a viral social media campaign to promote the fries. One of the people that this odd social media worked on was YouTuber Casey Neistat. He even went on to publish this video on his channel. Casey was mad about being tricked but also admired their ingenuity in the process.
