Apple's New 'Personal Voice' Can Create Voice That Sounds Like You In Mins

Apple recently showcased some new tools for those who are non-speaking or at risk of losing their ability to communicate, as well as software features for cognition,

vision, hearing, and mobility accessibility.

These enhancements build on hardware and software advancements, include on-device machine learning to protect user privacy, and continue Apple's tradition of producing devices that are accessible to all.

These new features will actually improve people's lives. Later this year, Assistive Access will allow users with cognitive disabilities to use the iPhone and iPad more easily and independently.

Live Speech will allow people who cannot speak to type during calls and conversations, and Personal Voice will allow people who are at risk of losing their ability to speak to create a synthesized voice that sounds like them for communicating with loved ones.

Tim Cook said, "At Apple, we’ve always believed that the best technology is technology built for everyone. Today, we’re excited to share incredible new features that build on our long history of making technology accessible, so that everyone has the opportunity to create, communicate, and do what they love."

What other things do you think Apple can do to improve the iPhone?
