Patrick Schwarzenegger on Those Pints, Living With Mom Again & Giving Back

If you follow Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Instagram, then you’re likely craving ice cream. The actor Zoomed with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday, May 28, and shared the latest flavor crush on “Patrick’s Pints” and also how he’s teamed up with his mom, Maria Shriver, for new Instagram Live series #HomeTogether amid COVID-19 quarantine.

“I eat really healthy during the week so that during the weekends I can fully eat whatever I want,” Patrick admitted, revealing the latest crazy flavor he’s trying is Salt & Straw’s nacho-flavored ice cream in partnership with Terry Crews.

The Midnight Sun actor, who added he recently ordered 12 more different flavors to try, has been sharing his pints with mom Maria, whom he’s quarantining with at home in Los Angeles.

“When the whole quarantine happened and Corona and COVID, I moved back in with my mom,” he shared. “Which has been amazing. I haven’t lived with her since high school. She was living alone and I wanted to spend time with her and make sure she felt comfortable that I wasn’t leaving and coming back and seeing random people and when we were together we were just like, ‘What can do we do to help?’”

The duo decided to launch Instagram Live series Home Together and help shed light on other influential people helping those on the frontlines amid the global pandemic, including the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Guy Fieri and Bethenny Frankel, who have all used their platforms to give back.

So what’s it like living back at home as an adult?

“My dad, when I was in lower school, middle school, high school, my parents didn’t allow locks on the door,” he jokingly recalled. “And if you ever had a girl over or anything like that, your significant other, the door had to be opened.”

Watch back the Zoom interview above to find out more, including what the nastiest ice cream flavor he’s ever tried is!
