James Corden apologized for jokes he made that appeared to make light of victim's of Harvey Weinstein. “The Late Late Show with James Corden” host made several jokes at the amfAR Gala which he hosted in Los Angeles on Friday night.
He was slammed for the jokes on social media including by actress Rose McGowan, who was one of Weinstein’s victims. She called him a “MOTHERF-CKING PIGLET" on Twitter and pointed out he was a good friend of the Hollywood producer.
Corden apologized via Twitter writing: “To be clear, sexual assault is no laughing matter. I was not trying to make light of Harvey’s inexcusable behavior, but to shame him, the abuser, not his victims. I am truly sorry for anyone offended, that was never my intention.”
