Beyonce Admits Juggling Career and Motherhood Can Be 'A Lot'

I know it's hard to think of Beyonce as being just another person like the rest of us... but, it's time to face the facts, she *is* just like us in some ways.

In her new Netflix special, Homecoming, Bey talks about how juggling motherhood and her career can be "a lot" and while I don't have a career quite on a Beyonce level, I can definitely relate. And I think working moms everywhere can, finally, really relate to Beyonce!

The special follows Beyonce through her rehearsals of her 2018 Coachella performance, which comes just under a year after Beyonce and her husband Jay Z welcomed twins, Rumi and Sir Carter.

Obviously the couple also has 7-year-old Blue Ivy, and Beyonce got candid about how she handles it all:

"Just trying to figure out how to balance being a mother of a 6-year-old and of twins that need me and giving myself creatively and physically it is a lot to juggle."

For Queen Bey, things have definitely changed in her career since she got married and had kids.

"It's not like before when I could rehearse 15 hours straight — I have children, I have a husband. I have to take care of my body."

By the way - the idea of rehearsing for 15 hours straight is INTENSE. Love her or not, you can't deny that anyone who is willing to regularly rehearse for 15 hours is kind of awesome.

So may we take this time, with Beyonce admitting that even she can't do it all, to remember that sometimes you have to take a minute and commit to yourself a little, so you are then able to be there for your family, AND work hard in your career.

We got this, ladies!
