Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith stopped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday morning with big news … they’re going on tour!

And the legends dished that Let Rock Rule will be a mix of classic tunes and “a little bit of new, a couple new songs … if we get some time to rehearse,” joked Steven.

In addition to their new tour, Ryan asked the guys about how they keep those great heads of “rock star hair.” When Ryan joked, “Imagine if you were bald, Steven,” the singer quipped, “God knows I’ve pulled my hair out enough times about this band,” which had everyone laughing.

As for how the legends stay in such good shape, Steven explained, “Actually we don’t hit our stride until the third week … but the third week on tour, I’m 15 again. Now, I’m 12.”

“No matter what you do beforehand, there’s nothing like going onstage,” added Joe. “You always feel like you’ve been run over by a truck the next day, no matter what. I’ve tried it both ways: I’ll get in shape on tour or I’ll work out for a month [before] … I’ll tell you, it’s very athletic.”

But before Aerosmith heads out on the road, they’re pulling off a special show at The Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood later today, Tuesday, April 8.
