Michael Jackson's personal demo of "Beat It" has started floating around online.  If you've never heard it before, it's pretty awesome.  Plus, you get to learn something cool about Michael's process for presenting music.

Michael Jackson couldn't play a ton of instruments.  He played a little bit of piano, and could obviously sing.  So, Michael would write all the parts for a song in his head, including the string and horn sections.  He would then record each part and arrange them to make a song.  It was that finished product he would hand off to people that could play those instruments.  They would record the parts and Michael would go in and sing.
